Trims & Transitions

Trims and transitions add a professional finishing touch to any hardwood installation, covering seams and joints and providing a smooth transition between uneven surfaces.

A convex profiled molding to cover the seam between a floor and wall, baseboard or cabinetry.

A concave profiled molding to cover the seam between a floor and wall, baseboard or cabinetry.

Named for its T-shaped profile, this is used to cover an expansion gap left between two flooring surfaces of equal height.

Used as a transition between floors of different heights. This style overlaps the higher floor and announces the transition with a subtle change in elevation.

Used to finish the exposed edge of flooring where it is higher than adjacent floor coverings and where a more gradual transition is not required.

Vents

For hardwood installers, vents are a perennial headache. Stock vent covers often don’t complement the décor or match the flooring and often look cheap, but custom-made options – if even available - are expensive and often take weeks to get, necessitating a call back to install them.

The original OG Collection is a self-rimming style that can be used in new installs or retrofit to replace existing vents. Simple and quick to install, too.
