Vancouver House

Vancouver House

With its precarious profile and twisting facades, Vancouver House became an instant icon of Vancouver’s skyline. Conceived by architect Bjarke Ingels as an example of Gesamtkunstwerk, a total work of art, the pixelated tower rises from its narrow context among on-ramps and bridge supports, anchoring workspaces, retail, hospitality, shops, and more. Vancouver House boasts some of the most dramatic views in the city. The building residences offer drama aplenty, too —from kitchen islands that appear to levitate to the copper cladding that shimmers with reflected light. Dialog worked with Kentwood’s product team to create a custom herringbone floor finished in natural brushed oak for the penthouse suites. The flooring adds a classic element to the bold, futuristic vision of the building and the sweeping natural beauty of its setting.
